avast! Advanced Suite is offered from 10 licenses (which covers up to 10 machines of which up to two are servers + 10 Exchange or Linux MTA mailboxes). Generally, the maximum number of servers is determined as a number of suite licenses, divided by ten, plus one. For example, a 24-license Advanced Suite lets you cover up to 3 servers. A 100-license pack covers up to 11 servers, and so on.

Traditionally, you'd need to purchase 24 licenses of avast! Professional Edition and 2 licenses of avast! Server Edition plus 24 licenses of avast! Exchange Server Edition and 24 mailbox licenses of avast! for Linux/Unix Servers.

That is (for a 1 year maintenance contract), 2 avast! Server Editions (2 x $209), 24 avast! Exchange Server Editions (24 x $22.95), 24 avast! for Linux/Unix Server mailboxes (24 x $9.65) and 24 avast! Professional Editions (24 x $20.95). The final price in this case would be $1703.20.

Volume discounts

As you can see from the table above, the price per license decreases with the number of licenses. In some cases, it is even true that you can purchase more licenses cheaper! For example, imagine you need a protection for 45-node network for 1 year. The list price of 45 licenses of avast! Advanced Suite is 45 x $49.95 = $2247.75; however, 50 licenses of the same product cost 50 x $40.95 = $2047.50 - i.e. less! So, in this case, please make an order for 50 licenses and you'll save. You don't have to use the licenses at this moment, but as your business grows they may become handy in the future.
