 独立实验室AV-Comparatives在本年二月份对主流病毒防治产品进行一系列测试. 因为本次的测试对象主要是针对市场上的17个知名病毒防治产品.所以测试条件是相对严格的.尽管如此, avast!还是赢得了"Advanced"优质奖项.
AV-Comparatives报告强调, "检测性能是决定病毒防治产品好坏的重要指标."avast!的在本次测试中的检测率超过98%, 而且扫描速度在所有测试产品中排行第三.

February, 2009 - the Virus Bulletin test focused this month on the Linux platform. According to the Virus Bulletin report, avast! for Linux ,
which was developed specifically for the Linux platform, displayed
excellent scanning speeds (both on access and on demand), and detection rates were at their usual exemplary level. avast! for Linux detected all viruses on the Wild
List with no false positives and it has received the first VB100
Award in 2009.
